Refund of Booking Amount Policy

  • When Refund of Booking Amount is allowed
    • As per Return Policy of DOSEAT.COM, if you receive a two-wheeler which isindex
      • Of the wrong model vs. what you paid your booking amount for
      • Of the wrong trim or variant vs. what you paid your booking amount for
      • Is of the wrong colour where the colour had been specified.
      • The State where the two-wheeler is to be registered is incorrect.
      • The item has been already purchased, and the stock is no longer available with the Seller
      • DOSEAT.COM will refund the Booking Amount charged to the customer in full.
    • However, in the following circumstances the Booking Amount will be refunded in part;
      • Where the order has been cancelled after 12 hours of making the Booking Amount payment and without any adequate reason.
      • Any dispute arising among DOSEAT.COM, Seller and the customer has been settled in against the customer.
    • Furthermore, where the Booking Amount is to be refunded in part as per provisions of Clause 1.2 above, amount deducted from the original booking amount will be as follows:
      • Where the order was below ₹1,00,000 (One Lakh Only) amount deducted will be ₹ 500( Five Hundred Only).
      • Where the order was above ₹ 1.00,000 (One Lakh Only) amount deducted will be of ₹ 1,000 (One Thousand Only).
  • Seller’s Liability in respect of Refund of Booking Amount
      It is the Seller’s duty to have stock available for the listings he makes, where the Seller is unable to fulfil his duty under the User Agreement and the Terms and Conditions and where any dispute occurring among DOSEAT.COM, Seller and the customer, which is settled against the Seller, he shall be liable to a penalty of :
    • Where the order was below ₹1,00,000 (One Lakh Only) a penalty of ₹ 500( Five Hundred Only).
    • Where the order was above ₹ 1.00,000 (One Lakh Only) a penalty of ₹ 1,500 (One Thousand Five Hundred Only).
  • Refund of Booking Amount Guidelines.
    • We may ask you to share the images of the product and the delivery slip.
    • The two-wheeler must be in their original condition. The customer shall not carry out modifications if he wants to return the two-wheeler, DOSEAT.COM will not be able make any refund if any modifications are made to the two-wheeler
    • DOSEAT.COM is a host to various brands and Sellers of two-wheelers, the two-wheelers will be subject such brand policies and Sellers policies of repair, exchange, refunds and cancellations thereby binding the customer with the same.
    • DOSEAT.COM Refund Policy is implied only where the two-wheeler does not match the specifications or defective as stated above. Cases where the wrong selection was made by the customer will be considered discretionary for refunds.
  • Refund of Booking Amount Time Period
    • If the refund request satisfies all the guidelines of Refund Policy DOSEAT.COM will soon move ahead with the refund, after stated amounts have been deducted as applicable, to the customer within 7 (seven) working days.
    • Refund will be done by the same method we received the payment in. In exceptions, we may ask you for the account details. If you have received a mail from us confirming your refund request, then be rest assured that we have initiated your refund request and are following up with financial organisations for the same. Sometimes financial organizations take a longer time to process the refund request. However, if the refund hasn't happened by the date we promised, you can contact us. We will gladly help you.
  • Refund of Final Value Payment
    • DOSEAT.COM is not liable to refund the Final Value Payment which is the Selling Price minus Booking Amount of the two-wheeler. This transaction is only between the Seller and the customer, DOSEAT.COM liability for refund is only limited to the Booking Amount for the two-wheeler.
    • As mentioned above in clause 3.3, DOSEAT.COM is a host to various brands and Sellers of two-wheelers, the two-wheelers will be subject such brand policies and Sellers policies of repair,exchange, refunds and cancellations thereby binding the customer with the same and DOSEAT.COM takes no responsibility in aiding, enabling or enforcing refund to the customers in their transactions with the Sellers.
    • The customers and the Sellers are advised to act cautiously in their transactions with each other and after full evaluation. DOSEAT.COM is not liable for any transactions or terms between the customer and Seller.
